  2. Jon, how did you get the wood to curve the way you did with the spoon/ladel that's on this thread? Did you just eye it and work from experience? Same with the fish. Any tips on carving wood into a curve would be greatly appreciated.

  5. Jon you do wonderful work that has inspired me to try my hand at spoons and kuksa. Having now done a few I clearly see the challenges and learning curve involved with reading the wood and manipulating the self-limited number of tools. I truly admire you and others that have put in the time and study to produce beautiful, functional work.
