My Work Cut Out...

My friend Gerald turned up the other day with what should be the answer to a draw of problems. 
I really need to set to work and re-place handles on some of my tools.
So we did a deal and I swapped half a dozen eggs for a length of Ash.

I have quartered the Ash and will let it season...

I wont have to season the Ash for to long for this job as it is a slip fit...
The next tool on the job sheet is a rather lovely Froe...

Again this tool requires a slip fit handle...

Now this next tool is the one I will have to be more careful with. I shall need to leave a suitable length of Ash drying for some time before I fit the helve...
